Creating a Forum

Creating your new free forum could not be easier! There is no software to download, install, or configure. Your new forum is ready to use the moment it is created.

ProBoards forums are rich in features that can be managed with a simple click. No expertise or technical knowledge is necessary. Power-users familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can further customize their forum adding a unique experience for their members.

Creating Your New Forum

Visit ProBoards.com and click the Create a Free Forum button.

Note

Existing User - a user who is a member of a ProBoards forum or has previously created a forum - should make sure they are logged in to their global account before proceeding.

The following instructions walk you through the simple 4-step creation process.

Step 1

new forum choose name enter password
Desired Forum Name
Enter your desired forum name. If a name is not available you may wish to try a different domain.

Domain
Use the dropdown selector to choose the desired domain.

Email
Enter your full email address.

Password
Create a secure password for your ProBoards account.

Step 2

new forum agree to terms
Privacy Policy / Terms of Service Agreement
Tick the checkboxes verifying you have read and agree to the ProBoards Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Step 3

Birthday
Required for compliance with our terms of service and regional laws pertaining to online accounts.

Gender
Select the gender option you identify with.

Forum Category
Select the Forum Category that best matches the genre of your forum.

Step 4

I'm not a robot
Tick the checkbox and complete the recaptcha.

Completed

new forum created

  • Your new forum is automatically set for HTTPS secure encrypted connection.
  • ProBoards forums do not start with www.
  • Log in to your forum with username admin and your password. Do not share your credentials.
  • You will receive an email shortly containing your activation key. You must activate your account in order to use your new forum.
