How to Access

The ProBoards v6 Beta will be available across multiple phases with different functionality becoming available over time.

Trying out v6​

The ProBoards Support Forum is available to try out in a Version 6 mode! To enable, become a member of the forum, and select the "Version 6" theme when editing your profile. You will be able to browse the forum and use the full set of user-facing features of v6.

Creating a new v6 forum​

Creating a new v6 forum is currently available to users who have unlocked access to the beta test.

You can check on the current status of beta and how to get an invitation by checking State of Beta

You can create a new v6 forum by visiting the ProBoards Contributions page. You will find a new reward, as well as a new page will become available if you have access to v6.

Currently, you can only create a new forum where you can see the entirety of v6. You are welcome to invite anyone to this forum, but we advise against using it as an active forum.

During this stage we may have breaking changes in v6 that would interrupt your beta forum and may require corrections or other changes before your users will be able to access it again.

Warning

During this stage of beta there may be breaking changes rendering the test forum unusable until fixed. We recommend using the forum exclusively for testing. Use as an active forum at your own risk. We will not be able to restore any lost data.
