Understanding your ProBoards Forum Dashboard​

What is the ProBoards Dashboard?​

The ProBoards Forum Dashboard is a visual management tool for all your forum accounts and is the "home" of your Global Account. The Dashboard also provides ProBoards purchase information relating to subscriptions and single transactions.

What type of information is available on the Dashboard?​

  • Forum Account Listings by Forum
    • Notifications (Including Personal Messages, Bookmarks, and Participated)
  • Current Subscriptions Listing
  • Subscription History
  • Transaction History
  • Your Global Account Settings

Forum Account Listings by Forum​

Each forum box contains the forum's name and the URL in the title bar. At a quick glance you can see your forum account (avatar, display name, and username), and any notifications.

1. Clicking on the forum name or URL will take you to the forum but not log you in.
2. Clicking on the avatar or display name will log you into that account.
3. Clicking on any of the notification buttons will reveal new notifications or a list of recent items.
4. Clicking on one of the list items will take you to that item on the forum.

Displaying your Accounts​

Under the blue Account dropdown, if you select Forum Accounts you get a more compact listing of forum accounts. On this page you can drag and drop to reorganize how your accounts display on the Dashboard.

You may also choose whether or not to display an account on your Dashboard by toggling the display checkbox. An account that is not displayed is still active. Unticking the checkbox does not delete the account.

Subscriptions​

Under the blue Account dropdown, if you select Subscriptions you get a list of both your current and past subscriptions.

  • Clicking on the subscription row will expand the item to offer more information.
  • Clicking the X at the far right of a current subscription will cancel the subscription.

Transactions​

Under the blue Account dropdown, if you select Transactions you get a list of one-time (non-subscription) purchases.

  • Clicking the transaction row will will expand the item to offer more information.
  • Clicking a year will show all purchase transactions for that year.

Global Account Settings​

Under the blue Account dropdown, if you select Account Settings you will see the settings page for your Global Account.

  • Name - Should be your real name. This will not show on the forum. The forum will display your username and display name.
  • About Me - This item is discontinued.
  • Email - Update your email address. (Changing your email address on the forum will bring you to this settings page.)
  • Password - Change your password. (Changing your password on the forum will bring you to this settings page.)
  • Security - Set whether forum account login accepts just your email address or both your email address and username.
  • Gender - Set the default option when registering a new forum account. You may change the option per forum account at the forum.
  • Birthdate - Set the default display option when registering a new account. You may change the display option per forum account at the forum.
  • Unlink Forum Account - This is where you can unlink a forum account to link to a different Global Account of yours.
  • Export Member Data - Export a copy of your posts and personal messages (PM's) per forum account.
  • Export Global Data - Export a copy of your Global Account data.
  • Delete Global Account - As stated, delete your Global Account.
