Create Rules that specific members' posts are not displayed to regular members until approved by moderator(s)


read rule examples on "Quarantine Rules" for info


to hide last post cell stuff, when the last post is in quarantine, do this:

edit templates
-thread list template- put

<span style="display:none" class="lastpostID">$[thread.last_post.id]</span>

inside whatever container you have holding the last post author and time

edit templates
-board list template- put

<span style="display:none" class="lastpostID">$[board.last_thread.last_post.id]</span>

inside whatever container you have holding the last post title/author/date

It is an awesome plugin that safe forums need. I wouldn't be able to make mine safe without it. Unfortunately, it doesn't check to see if the user has permissions in the approval function, and is easily hacked from the javascript console.

awesome man! instructions and tool tips are a little awkward though. hard to fully understand. but works. just need to do a lot of guesswork. thanks. This does not work on cell phones! I'm still able to post as guest on a phone.

When banning a Guest IP does not work, this plug-in offers the next level of intervention and protects forum from disruption by persistent sicko Guests. No far, no negative feedback from Guests who now must await approval for posts. Easily configured. A lifesaver!

Awesome! I was about to quit proboards and search for a new hosting forums site when I discovered that this function wasn't already built in! Then I found this plugin, it's a MUST HAVE especially if your forums are open to the public! Thank you & Bless you! =)
