The Email All tool allows forum administrators to send mass emailings to all discussion forum members who opt-in and are sent without having to use 3rd party email programs. To access the Email All feature, navigate to the admin panel and click the Email All link under the Manage Member category. The sections of the Email All page are explained below.


When forum members receive mass emails, the subject line will display the name of the discussion forum followed by the title you've entered. For example, if the name of your forum is The ABC Message Board and you type Hello Happy People!, the subject line members see will be: The ABC Message Board – Hello Happy People!.


This is the actual message forum members see when they open their emails. The message can say anything you like and there are no limits on the amount of text. Once the Subject and Message are complete, click the Send Message button at the bottom of the page and the email will be sent within 15 minutes.

Receiving Emails

To receive mass emails, a members forum account must be activated. To verify activation, click the Profile button at the top of the page. The Account Status field in the Member's Bio will indicate whether or not their online forum account has been activated. If it says Not Activated, click the Activate Now link to complete the process.

To opt-in and receive mass emails from the discussion forum, click the Profile button at the top of the page. Then, click the Modify Profile link and locate the option for Mass Emails in the Account Preferences section. Set this to Opt-In to receive future emails or, select Opt-Out if you'd like to be excluded from mailings.
