Once you have some plugins installed on your forum, you can choose to enable or disable any of the installed plugins at any time. When a plugin is enabled, then the code from the installed plugin will be active on your forum. Though there may come a time when you need to disable a plugin on your forum, such as when making extensive settings changes, or if you ever need to troubleshoot a problem. Disabling a plugin will keep the plugin installed on your forum and will preserve any settings changes you have made to the plugin.
To enable or disable a plugin on your forum:
- Go to your forum's Admin Control Panel
- Go to Plugins
- Go to Manage
On the Manage Plugins page, look for the checkbox found directly to the left of the plugin names on the page. Check the box to the left of the plugin name to enable the plugin on your forum, or uncheck the box to disable the plugin. Your changes will save automatically.
