- Threads, Posts, and Shoutbox — Members of groups with these powers gain access to the Moderate sub-menu of the Actions menu for all threads and posts on the boards they can moderate. They will also have these powers in the Shoutbox.
- Members — These powers allow members of the group to change the contents of a member's profile as well as see more of the member's information. This includes the ability to see when a member is online even when their account is set to invisible. You can also allow members of the group to mass PM, which sends a personal message to everyone on the forum.
- Admin Area — Powers in this area give members of the group access to different pages of the admin panel. Each option enabled here will give the group members the corresponding option in their admin area.
- Critical Powers — Powers listed here are normally only reserved for the main admin of the forum. Give these powers only to groups containing members you trust, as they give a great amount of control over the forum to whoever has access to them.
Powers Glossary
Threads, Posts, and Shoutbox
Make Announcement: Gives the ability to post announcements, so that those threads will stay at the top of all boards.
Sticky: Gives the ability to sticky threads, so that those threads stay at the top of a board.
Lock: Gives the ability to lock threads and polls, so that no one may post in them, except those with this power.
Move: Gives the ability to move threads from one board to another, merge threads together, and split threads apart.
Delete: Gives the ability to delete threads, removing them from this forum entirely.
Bump and Fall: Gives the ability to bump threads and make them fall, so that threads can be moved back to the top without posting and can be made to ignore bumps from new posts.
Edit: Gives the ability to edit, allowing modification of threads, posts, and shouts made by others.
View Poll Voters: Gives the ability to see who has participated in a poll.
Members
Edit Profiles: Gives the ability to edit another user's profile.
Edit Groups: Gives the ability to add, remove, and ban members from groups.
See Invisible Members: Gives the ability to see members who have their online status set to invisible.
Warn Members: Gives the ability to issue warnings to members.
View/Search by IP: Gives the ability to search for members, posts, and threads by IP.
Mass PM: Gives the abillity to send personal messages to all members of this forum at once.

Themes: Gives the ability to access the themes sections of the admin area.
